This course is designed for students who intend to practice primarily civil litigation. The course focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of taking and defending depositions. Students will prepare for, take, and defend depositions using real-life cases and fact patterns. Students will learn how to prepare witnesses, handle exhibits, and use depositions before and at trial.
